Aquí encontré una cuenta re-divertido sobre los lunfardos argentinos.  Me parece que aprendió mucho más que yo en su viaje y creo que sería informativo a ustedes también.

The following is a collection of lunfardo (loon- far- dough) or Argentine slang. I kept a list of lunfardos when I was a Rotary Exchange student living in Argentina from 1989-1990. Whenever I heard my friends say something that was new to me I would have them explain it and I would write it down. They would try and think of things I could add to my collection. Therefore much of what I am writing were expressions or words used by young people when I was in Argentina. Some of theses expressions may be inappropriate to use with people you don't know well. I have included a literal translation in parenthesis, however they may not make a lot of sense in English. Some of my explanations are also mixed with Spanish. - Kimberly M. Dungey

First of all argentinos use "vos" instead of "tu" to say "you" informally.

Example: A vos tenés las llaves? (Do you have the keys?)

They say "sos" instead of "eres" to say "you are" informally.

Example: Sos macanudo. (You're nice).

There are also many words that may be used in other Spanish speaking countries that are totally different in Argentine Spanish. Much like British English and American English differ, so does Argentine Spanish and other varieties of Spanish.

Lunfardo argentino

Words:

mufa someone who brings bad luck

fayuto one who says one thing and does another (someone who is a fake)

boliche bar / dance club

pucho cigarette

capicua When you speak in a way that you repeat the first word you said at the end of your sentence. Example: Fuiste al cine fuiste. Also it is considered good luck if you get something with a number like this: 717, 9009. (When the first number is also the last).

yanqui or yankee a person from the U.S.A. (usually it's meant in a nice way)

Sayings:

À Qué pinta para hoy? (À Qué podemos hacer hoy) What's the plan for today?

Estamos re-colgados (Estamos solos) We're here solo.

Estoy papando moscas (Estoy volando) I'm in another world.

Hay un pedazo (Hay un mot&oacuten) When there's a lot of something.

Sos un descontrolado (Est&aacutes re-loco) You're out of control! You're crazy!

Me copa I love it!

Está copado. That's cool. It's cool. (Quiere decir que te encanta, está b&aacuterbaro)

Est&aacutes jam&oacuten. You look really awesome. You look hot!

jam&oacuten del medio (Literally: ham from the middle) The best.

ÁEst&aacutes hecha una potra! (Literally: You look like a filly!) You look hot! (To a female)

ÁEst&aacutes hecha una loba! (Literally: You look like a wolf!) You look hot! (To a female)

Qué bochorno (Qué vergŸenza.) How embarrassing.

Un zapato (Literally: a shoe) A dummy, an idiot.

Se me borró (Me olvidé) I forgot.

Estoy enchufada (Literally: I'm plugged in) I'm raring to go. I'm energetic, excited.

Estoy desenchufada (Literally: I'm unplugged) I'm beat. I want to rest.

ÁPonete las pilas! (Literally: Get your batteries in!) Get going!

ÁEnchufate! (Literally: Get plugged in!) Let's go! Get moving!

ÁOjo! or ÁOjito! (Literally: Eye) Careful

Hasta las manos when you're experiencing problems you can't get over them, you've really had it.

desubicado (a) someone who says things that he or she really has no idea about and therefore shouldn't be saying anything about.

Está re-quemado (Literally: It's burnt) When something is over-used. Or when a song is over-played.

pendejo (a) slang for a young girl or boy (bad connotation- brat)

alterado (a) someone who is hysterical, nervous

Voy a plumas verdes (a ningœn lado) I'm not going anywhere. Ex. if a friend asks you where you're going on vacation you could respond this way (slang).

No mandes fruta (Literally: Don't send fruit) Don't lie.

denso (pesado, plomo) someone who's a pain in the butt

guacho (a) bastard

un chup&oacuten (beso mojado, beso de lengua) a kiss with tongue, wet kiss

Est&aacutes como bocina de avi&oacuten (de m&aacutes) (Literally: You're like a horn in a plane) You're useless.

Est&aacutes como un cenicero de moto You're like an ashtray on a motorcycle.

No seas jeringa (Literally: Don't be a syringe) (No te metas. No te cuelges.) Don't butt in! Stay out of it!

grasa (ordinaria, se pone ropa que no se usa) someone who wears clothes that are way out of style, kind of nerdy or tacky.

parda = grasa

no darle bolilla to ignore someone

mamarracho (mal vestido) someone who dosen't match, poorly dressed

cursi someone who is out of style

ÀQué sos leche herrvida? What are you boiled milk?

Mi viejo saltó como leche herrvida. (Literally: My old man jumped like boiled milk.)

ÀQué te prend&eacutes? ÀQué sos lamparita? (Literally: Why are you lighting up? What are you a light bulb?) When someone cuts into your conversation with someone and tries to butt into your business.

ÀQué te enganchas, sos vag&oacuten? (se le dice tambi&eacuten al que se mete en algo. Que no tiene nada que ver) (Literally: Why are you hitching on? Are you a train car?) Why are you butting in?

un vom’to (un asco) (Literally: a vomit) something that's disgusting.

palmó (murió) died

palmé I'm beat. (When your really tired)

ÁQué embole! (ÁQué aburrimiento!) How boring! estar en pedo to be drunk

Fuimos al pedo We went for nothing, a waste of time.

agreta (siempre con cara de culo, tira malas ondas) someone who is always grumpy

mala onda (Literally: a bad wave) somone who is a party pooper

boludeando (sin hacer nada) hanging out, not doing much of anything

Me hice la boluda (el boludo) pretending you don't know anything about something

Hice la burra (el burro) (Literally: I played the donkey) (same as above)

ÁQué kilombo! (l’o, despelote) (Literally: What a whorehouse!) What a mess! What a disaster!

Es una cagada (Es una mierda) It's crappy.

Qué cagada When something doesn't go your way. What bad luck.

pesado (a) (Literally: heavy) someone who is annoying

Es pesado como vaca en brazos (Literally: He's as heavy as a cow in your arms) Really annoying.

barrilete (que se mal engancha) someone who's nosy, someone who butts in when he shouldn't.

mal enganchado (que se mete) someone who's nosy, someone who butts in when he shouldn't.

borrega (o) (pendeja (o), nenita, bebe) immature, annoying kid

carajo actually it's part of a ship, but it's used as a bad word ÁAnda al carajo! Go to Hell!
